LAFACE Laboratories is a scam.  Lisa Alexander created this company with absolutely NO EXPERIENCE in the dermatologic or beauty business.  She said she knew "beauty creams and elixers" weren't regulated by the FDA and therefore mixing any sort of ingregients together backed with no scientific claims, but pure false testimony (thanks to her family and friends false glowing reviews) could gain her big profit margins, even though she knew her compounds would produce results no better than any placebo product.

I used her products, though backed by dubious claims, because we had friends in common.  I ended up with roscacea, acne and a burn.

I've met this woman in person and she is, frankly, frighening to look at.  Her face is the product of botched plastic surgery. She has eyebrows pulled by a brow lift into a "V" shape and is an old woman, looking about sixty, with a puffy, bloated face and reddened skin.  She looked like an alcoholic who's smoked for 20 years. Apparently, she's only in her mid-50s.  She looks like the ugly step-sister of Janice Dickenson.

Clearly her skin serums and products are a ruse.  Her face tells it all!  My face after using her products, looked like hers, though I'm 30 to her 50-something.  She is only after profits, not real skincare science.  The prices she charges are laughable!

She must stay in business because she is a "fifth-generation Californian" (as she tells anyone who will do the favor of listening) and "former model".  It's well-known she rides the coattails of any wealthy woman of the SF Bay Area who is naive enough to be fleeced by her stories of "once-greatness".  It's well known around Fort Worth and SF that she is a complete con artist.  And no, I do not know the other author who wrote the very accurate review of her products.

I hope she does not hook anymore gullible consumers.  She knows nothing of this industry, is a poseur, and amorally reckless in her quest to stay afloat financially.
