OK This is scary now.  

Let me begin by saying I spent over $700 on four different pieces of Lakeland Mills Log Furniture. All but on e piece was either missing a piece a screw or had a broken piece. So that's 3 out of 4.  There was an orange card saying to PLEASE not return to the store call the 800 number for missing parts. So  did. My glider had a slat which had a knot hole that snapped the slat in half. So they sent me a board in a box. Wrong board wrong size wrong color. Some of the cracks are beyond what is described and one of the boards on the back was commpletely notched out and unuable I called the number you know from that little orage card that says PLEASE DONT RETURN IT TO THE STORE and Anyway I Finally got the board I was missing and it was different then what I received or what I needed. The funny thing is my replacement board was all nice and smooth and sanded and my glider kit was rough and looked like it jsut come off the saw. A noticable difference. So in other words now my thing is gonna look patched up. or do I get to sand down the other 18 boards to match?? . There solution: take it apart buy a box and return it... 

RIDICULOUS! This company has ZERO quality control. If they had any sort of inspector then they wouldn't send out the pile of cracked and knotted up boards in a box and basically tell you to build it yourself.. 

And Bob who says he is the president of the company was ZERO help either. Save your money buy something else. Because if something does go wrong they will move heaven and earth to SAVE THEM TIME AND MONEY They could care less about the customer! How am I suppose to disassemble this and return it? What is my time worth? They have no quality control and then when you try and get it replaced they act as if your trying to get something for nothing. Also the scraps of wood has lots of splinters and I would not let a child anywhere near it.

As I said I had ordered two chairs, an end table and a glider. The chairs I bought from Amazon and bought the Glider and end table from Meijer.com The glider is basically a pile of boards in a box and some directions with some wood screws.. And of all it was most damaged. IT had knot holes and one of the slats was cracked in half. 

So I went online as most customers with a bad experience do and I wrote a bad review. I mean that is what reviews are their for right??

This is where it turns from a bad product experience to customer stalking.  

YES! after In initially gave it a bad review an employee of Lakeland Mills or someone pretending to be an employee of Lakeland MIlls responded to the review and basically said I was a fat dumb redneck. They then proceeded to comment on every single review I had ever written on any product here. Someone was really upset I had given this bad review. And it was not someone who had bought a chair. I called Amazon and Amazon did nothing. I also started receiving hang up calls at all times of the day and night. To this day the comments remain coming form someone who calls themselves Jason. I called and let :Bob" know someone from his company was doing this to me and that i was receiving hang up calls in the night and he had no response. This suggests to me that Bob knew all about it.

Keep in mind, I still have a broke product, and no resolution. And now even writing this, I am scared because bad business is bad business BUT a boat load of crazy is completely something else!

Enjoy my money because you wont get anymore of it and sending out the junk your sending out you wont stay in business long ALSO note many of the good reviews of these products are from the early 2000's not lately. I suspect somehting has changed recently as newer reviews dont have the good experience earlier ones do!

And if anything were to happen to me I hope someone will verify the whereabouts of Lakeland Mills employees because I think they might get some special incentive to terrorize their disgruntled customers!  I make light of it but in all honesty  it really does creep me out a company would go this far over a $300 glider.   I M just a guy trying to get what I paid for in the first place a a quality non patched up non cracked up piece of outdoor furniture.
