It was the morning of December 10, 2018. I drove my vehicle in to Lambs Auto Center to have a tire patched up from a nail puncture and a routine engine and transmission oil change. I was greeted by a older man by the name of CHO and went into the office/reception area to discuss pricing on labor for the fluid change because I brought my own motor/transmission oil and filters. 5 quarts of Mobile 1 5w30, fram oil filter, about 6 quarts of transmission fluid, and a transmission filter. The price was agreed upon and work was immediately started. I stayed around to witness the mechanic put my vehicle onto a lift and drained the oils from my vehicle. I then preceeded to question the mechanic how long would the service take and he said at least 2 hours. So I stepped away next door to have some breakfast. About 20 min. have passed since I left. I then came back and waited in the office area. Soon after Mr. [continued below]....

..... Cho called for me and said my vehicle is ready. I payed the bill and left but didn't realize at the moment the tire patch wasn't on the invoice. The entire process took about an hour.

As I was driving off I noticed that my vehicle didn't feel any smoother when I stepped on the gas pedal but worse. I have an older vehicle, so I would notice a difference every time the fluids gets changed out. There was also a slight hesitation when I turn the ignition now. Please note that this wasn't the first time I brought my vehicle in for a routine fluid change. And as I was approaching a red light, the temperature needle started to rise and then drop erratically. There were also noises coming from under the hood, like a knocking sound. I then drove back home, which was a short distance away from the Auto Center to check the fluids from the dipstick. Lo and behold, none of the fluids have been changed with new oil I brought them.

The following day I decided to change the engine oil myself to find that the oil coming out from the engine was darker than when I brought it in for an oil change and the filter was screwed on to tightly that i left it in. The filter was the one I supplied. There were also a white grease like substance inside the engine oil port. At this point I was so disgusted and angry. I then did some research online to find out why it was overheating and checked the radiator cap to find a piece of cotton material wedged between the springs. I removed the cotton material. At this point the engine oil was changed and radiator cap cleaned. I went for a test drive and it was a night an day difference. No more overheating and car started right away. Pedal feel was alot smoother and vehicle didn't feel like it was struggling but knock was stil there. I thought to myself. Did they put something in the gas tank and power steering fluid? I have noticed a bit of vibration in the steering now. OMG.

The community have to be aware of these crooks. They have been in business for 20 years now. They must be stopped and be made acountable for their dishonesty and shady practice. I am sure I am not the one.
