Lantana-Atlantis Animal Hospital Don't go to this rip off animal hospital Boynton Beach Florida

 This animal hospital is actually in Lantana, Florida, but this city was not listed as an option on this website.

  Do not go to this rip-off animal hospital.  Not only are they the typical high priced vet., but they will short change you on your pet's medication, and when you go back for more, they will attempt to charge you for another prescription !

On 1-5-18, I took my dog there for a urinary infection and the vet, Dr. Love, claimed my dog had an ear infection.  After a very long wait in the exam room, ( the assistants take your dog away to examine them in another room where you can't see what they are doing), I was told that I would be getting medication for the urinary infection and the ear infection.  When I paid the bill, part of the bill was for $28.97, which was for the ear medication, which was a very small plastic dropper bottle, and the medication was covered completely by the label they put around it.  The dosage for that was one drop in each ear, twice a day, for 7 days.  That day was Friday.  By Sunday night, the bottle was empty.  I had only used one drop in each ear twice a day, but with this type of bottle, it is impossible to let out exactly one drop at a time.

On Monday, 1-8-18, at 9:15 AM, I called the hospital and told them what happened, and that I was out of medication.  The receptionist tells me they would call me when it was ready.  Since I work midnight shifts and sleep during the day, I went to sleep after that, and left my phone on, planning to go there whenever they called me.  I did not have medication for that Monday.  I woke up at 6:30 PM, and they had  the receptionist puts me on hold for 5 minutes or more, gets back on and tells me, " We are working on that now."  I asked her when they closed, and she says, " In 15 minutes."  I told her I could not make it there in 15 minutes, and my dog went the whole day without the medication.  She tells me, " Come back in the morning, we open at 8 AM."  It was clear to me that they forgot to fill the prescription all day.

The next day I go there at 8 AM, and I asked for my medication that should have been ready the day before.  This bimbo replies," We can take up to 24 hours to fill a prescription."  I told her no place takes that long to fill a prescription, especially a tiny bottle of liquid.  Then she tells me that I have to pay another $ 28.97 for the bottle !  I told her I wasn't paying for another bottle, since they short changed me the first time. This bimbo replies, " We charge for every medication, no matter what." I walked out and left her with the medication. 

I notified VISA of this dispute, who then removed it from my charge card.  Then I had to take my dog to another vet. for an exam and more medication. Do not go to this place.  They will rip you off on everything, including the medication.
