An absolutely horrible experience attempting to get a replacement AC adapter for a laptop computer. For this company to claim that it is their speciality, as implied by the company name at least, is laughable. Here's how the whole thing went:

Two months ago I ordered a charger from them online, all seemed well. The item was delivered quickly but I immediately discovered that the barrel connector to plug into the computer was the wrong size. I contacted them and told them of the problem, they quickly said a replacement would be coming and to await return instructions for the first one. Okay, so far maybe not so good but still hopeful. The second charger came and the barrel connector was also the wrong size. Now, with confidence waning,

I inquired about return information for both items and was told to include some reference numbers on the packaging but to send each back to their respective origins. Now, I've paid for a charger I can't use, along with shipping and insurance costs that they charged on the initial order, and I have to now pay to ship the unusable items back to LCF in California and to a third party company in New Jersey. Confidence has evaporated at this point but am still hopeful that I would be refunded for my purchase.

Oh, but wait! That's right there is a restocking fee of 20%. Did you know that $15.80 is 80% of $20.20 purchase price? Well, LCF aparently doesn't know how to do basic math. Confidence completely gone at this point!!

Hang on there, according to their website: (See product returns page)

"We allow customers to return their products within a 30 day period from the date of purchase. If you wish to exchange the product out, you may do so at no cost. If you wish to return it, there will be a 20% restocking fee. Your initial shipping costs will be refunded back in full and we will also pay for your return."

So where is the refund of my initial shipping costs, and how did they pay for my returns?? Answer, they didn't.

In summary:

Laptop Charger Factory is an extremely poor company, does not provide proper goods as indicated, then makes you pay them for their failures. Furthermore, they do not pay for return shipping nor do they refund initial shipping costs as they claim to. So if you want to receive products that you can't use, pay for them to be shipped to you, pay to ship them back, and also pay them a portion of the purchase price so it can be easier for them to do the same thing to someone else, go ahead and place your order. Otherwise, run as far away from this company as possible.
