I recently purchased a 2002 Nissan Maxima from Larry h miller Truckland Store downtown. When i told them what i was looking for i told them i wanted an 02-03 fully loaded maxima. i was pressured into getting a gold stock maxima that is beat to hell. I bought it cause i thought it was a good deal. When I bought it I was told that the car was in great condition. I asked if it had ever been wrecked. The answer I got was We do not buy cars that have ever been in accidents. If we get a trade in that has been in a wreck we wholesale it. Somehow my car seems to have slipped passed that inspection. The back bumper is all screwed up and looks like it was spray painted.(The Car was parked against a fence when I bought it so I did not see the back.) When ever I step on the breaks the stereo turns up. Also all the speakers are blown. I have taken the car back down to the store to get the check engine light fixed. They did something to it but the light came back on later the next day. I know a few mechanics that work down at your ford store. I was told through the grape vine that when the car came in on trade the check engine light was on, and that all they did to the car was reset the battery so it would reset the light.

I purchased the car on May 27th 2006. As I drove the car around that night the Check Engine light came on. I called the store and asked to speak to Toa the Used car manager who helped me get the car in the first place. Toa was not in so I was transferred to Trent Hammond. I told Trent that I was not happy with the car and wanted to bring it back cause the check engine light had come on. He told me that the managers were out at the big sale But if I brought it in tomorrow (May 30th) that we could work it out. It is now july 7, 2006 and the issue has not been resolved.

The Managers down there have done nothing but try to get me to buy another car for them and they want to give me 11,000 dollars for a car i am into $15200 dollars. Unfortunatly it has come down to me having to trade the car in on something new from Wade autosales.

Come on!

All dealerships have an arbitration notice! If they can't get you financed then the car is never yours. Meaning it is still the dealerships car. Now if the guy paid his bills on time, we wouldn't be having this chat. Bad credit equals no car in most cases!

I have had nothing but problems with LHM and Jerry Seiner. I will never do business with them again. They pull what is known as a Spot Delivery scam. What that means is that they get you into the car you want then tell you days later they cant get you financed. So you have to bring the car back or get the cops called. Well, once the deal is inked the car is yours financed or not. There are plenty of case laws to back this up where consumers have told dealerships to stick it, gone to court over it and have won. The dealership then is on the hook to eeither get you financed or you get a free car. Anyway, take the car back and tell them you were pressured and signed under duress. With LHM's track record of screwing customers, let them explain the whole thing in front of a judge. One question: was there an arbitration clause in the contract? For your sake I hope not.

Cheers!!
