False Advertisement 22,900 sales dept changed to 26,900
On or about April 13th 2013. My wife was at Larry H Miller VW getting service work done. She was aproached by a sales lady named Judy Rodriguez. Long story short she sold my wife on buying a new Jetta and trading her older 2010 Jetta TDI in.
My wife called me at home and told me about the deal. I said see if you can buy 2 cars I was in need of a car at the time too. They came back to her and said great credit no problem.
I was at home and had no ride to the dealer and had to pick up son from school. So my wife looked arounfd for a used car for me. At the time I wanted a Camaro convertable. Knowing Larry H Miller has almost 100 dealerships I was sure he had one somewhere.
I did a google search for a 2012 Camaro convertable. As I had thought one poped up. There was on a few miles away at another Larrymiller Dealer in Peoria, with a price of 22,900. I called my wife and told her she said that will work fine.
Larry H Miller of Peoria sent the car out to the Avondale Larry Miller. I had told the sales person the price and they said no problem. I thought I should be able to get a few thousand of the listed/Advertised price.I was very wrong and should not have trused them at all.
They got the paper work together for both cars and had my wife sign everything at once. My wife thinking that I had the price where we needed it. She signed all the paper work and the deal was done. She did not know that the price was advertised at 22,900 and signed the Camaro contract.
When I went to pick the car up I said to the slaes lady Judy Rodriquez, the price is 22,900 right she said oh no no no. We had to add 3900 dollars for these custom wheels and tires. The custom wheels and tires were in the advertisement, I have the ad and the picture with the wheels and tires with the price of 22,900. Anyway they would do nothing and the car that was advertised at 22,900 was about 34,000 out the door. False Deceptive Advertisement. When we complained to the sales manager he said that is a common advertsing technique they use. I was digusted..
The story gets far worse because the wheels and tires they carged 3900 for made very bad road noise and they refuse to fix that also.
They also promised to pay off her old loan and they put some of the balance on the new loan called it lease when it was a sale and didn't to my knowledge disclose this to the lender or the buyer. LOAN FRAUD.

Hello MR
I did not want to have a 20 page doc so here is some answers to your questions. Did they honor the terms answer is no they still have a balance on the old car. Road noise they put the wheels and tires on new and charged her 4,000 k They also had this car certified by by their technician. We were told their tech went thru the whole car top to bottom and certified it and it is still under factory warranty with the exception of the wheels and tires they put on,. Also the wheels and tires they put on have now ruined the rear end and wheel bearings. Thanks

You and your wife communicated poorly before the transaction and she is a poor negotiator.
"very bad road noise"
That's a chance a buyer takes when purchasing a vehicle without a test-drive.
"They also promised to pay off her old loan and they put some of the balance on the new loan called it lease when it was a sale"
Did the dealer honor the terms of the written agreement?
