I did business with Larry Seigel owner of Florida Coconuts buying batches of coconuts. There were "duds" that he would provide credit for in the next batch. I did several orders and the bad ones were made up for except for the last order when he sent me 42 coconuts and only about 6 to 8 were okay. The rest were seriously rotten and so dry they were iinedible. I tried many times to appeal to his good senses and customer service, and he refused any reasonable compensation and was rude. Had I tried to eat the coconuts he sent, I would have been sick. It is a health dept. Issue as well, not just a rip off giving useless product to a customer. He opted for losing my business than to take responsiblity for the rotten coconuts he sent me. I even sent him photos. This is covert criminal activity.

Update to Report on Larry Siegel of Florida Coconuts

Through addtional communication with Larry Siegel, ( E mail communications can sometimes be easily mistaken as to intention of communication.) the matter of this report has been corrected and Larry will provide credit for the coconuts that were bad in my large coconut order.
I have additionally learned that the coconut business is not an easy one as the shelf life of aged coconuts is not very long and such errors (as the cocnouts going sour/ rotton) are difficult to detect. For whatever reason, I happened to get a plethora of bad coconuts all in one batch which is unusual.
Larry's coconuts are of superior quality when properly harvested and aged and I do prefer his coconuts over the ones I can get from any conventional local store.
