Larry Thomas Bad Landlord/ Racist Landlord Kankakee, Illinois

Larry Thomas who works as a maintenance man and First Trust Bank in Kankakee, IL  is also who a landlord who is buying up foreclosed homes and renting them out. He promises to do things then does not do them at all or does them half a*s. He was told several times about black mold in the basement and decided not to do anything about it so after I had attempted to scrub it with bleach with no success I reported him to code enforcement and that afternoon he told me he wanted me out. He also from day one said that the neighbor did not like us and told us not to talk to them because they were unsocial able when in reality he did not want us to speak because he was running his mouth to us about them and vice versa.

Larry is a married man but his girlfriend or so she says named Kathy has showed up here four times looking for him. He also will make agreements and then go back on them.. He will lie and then when he is called out on it he will blow up and call you the liar. He decided to threaten us by saying he was going to kick our asses and that he does not care if he has to go to jail a couple of times and that the cops could not always protect us..He has also been in our home several times without premission and denies that is was him but we have a ADT system and no one else except him had the code we have changed the code and did not give it to him once we figured it out was him... He is a scam artist he will tell you what he thinks you want to hear in the end he is nothing but a slum lord....One of the occasion he had came in he used our shower that is when we changed our code.. we are moving out but renters beware there is dangerous black mold in the basement and he thinks painting over it will solve everything..

Not to mention he promised to bomb for spiders and never did and when my sister came up with my niece we found a black widow spider in our home we caught it and froze it and will be taking it to court.. He will also run your personal business all over town.. The address is 194 N 4th Ave in Kankakee, Il he plans to do some revision to the premises but this home is not up to code all the water shut off valves are on the other side in the other tenants basement and all the breakers are on our side and there is way to many things on one breaker both bedrooms the kitchen and living room dining room and bathroom are all on the same breaker the only one that is on its own is the pantry and if u turn on your microwave and have a air conditioner on u will blow a breaker..
