Laser Perfect, Gil Segev Complaints of unethical practices are ALL TRUE Vienna Virginia

I was hired to perform laser hair removal for Laser Perfect by Ari Segev, the general manager of Laser Perfect, the father of Gil Segev, MD, the medical director of LP. I worked for LP for just over 6 months, during which time I witnessed first-hand the blatantly deceptive business, and unethical medical practices, of the owners of LP. I can confirm all of the information provided by other employees in previously-filed Rip-Off reports about Laser Perfect.

During the time I worked for LP, I repeatedly had to advocate on behalf of the clients, to help them obtain the services for which they had paid, but Ari and Gil only cared about their bottom line, and regularly cheated clients. They also regularly hire unqualified people, and only provide 2 or 3 days of on-the-job training, by having the new person learn from other employees, none of whom have ever received any formal training on laser technology or techniques.

I have seen the company violate OSHA laws, HIPPA, and medical practice acts. Gil regularly wrote false prescriptions in order to obtain components for lipodissolve treatments from an out of state compounding pharmacy, written in the name of non-existent patients, or in the names of spouses of employees. When I was being trained, I observed that the trainer was not properly disinfecting the laser between clients because the company schedules such inadequate appointment times that there is no time between appointments for disinfection.

This is a serious health violation, which can result in the spread of diseases such as Hepatitis, HIV, Herpes, Human Papilloma Virus, and other infections. I could go on and on with other details of unbelievable business practices, but the bottom line is that this company needs to be shut down, and Gil needs to have his medical license revoked.
