No doubt LaserAway in Hollywood, and what I've experienced in San Diego, gets great reviews on Yelp, and is such a good customer to Yelp, if you post something LaserAway doesn't like, they'll remove it ASAP!

The great reviews are party myth as they do not reveal the fact Laser Away has issues with dealing drugs. Of course, they don't give them out, but at the time of the below recording, if you had a service done, LaserAway would provide Vicodin and Xanex without doctor approval. LaserAway was investigated for distributing narcotics without a doctor speaking to the patient, seeing a patient, or knowing anything about the patient. See complaint, 09-00555-RN. In my little humble opinion, a place with doctor degrees on the wall and only a nurse or tech on site is nothing more than a front and endangers the well being of its clients when providing controlled narcotics against the law.

What's more interesting is the fact the "medical director" doesn't appear to be board certified in cosmetic surgery, but is merely a physician, which is great if you are sick, but there's a reason why doctors receive specialized education and become board certified in cosemetic surgery. What's even more interesting is the fact Shalini Kapoor doesn't even claim her office to be a LaserAway location but a totally different address of 10599 Wilshire Blvd. # 204 Los Angeles, CA 90024. Personally, if I wanted a cosmetic surgery done, I would go to a doctor who is board certified in cosmetic surgery, which Kapoor doesn't appear to be. It's like taking your Mercedes to a Ford dealer for service.

Be safe and avoid places like LaserAway ( LaserAway.net ) that can cause you severe injury.
