Laura Blackburn Dave Peterson Puppy Scam - Fraudulent Cashiers Checks. North Carolina Internet

I was also contacted by "DAVE" from phone # (((REDACTED))) with the following message:

"Hi, I'm interested in your puppy.  I want to know if it's still available?  Do get back to me with your lowest asking price and any available picture.  As for the payment do you accept Cashiers Check?  I'll make arrangement for the pickup at your location after payment, Dave."

I'm obviously not taking the bait, but wish I knew of some way to turn them in to the authorities.  I can't stand low-life scammers or people wasting my time.

 I was contacted by the number 347-798-1541 today by text and he was interested in buying my dog and wanted to send a cashier's check for the amount I wanted for the dog as well as the feeding shipping Etc fee to give to the shipper that he was going to send to my house to pick up the dog he wanted me to cash the check to my bank and then give the money that was owed to the shipper to the shipper I felt that this was strange but I did give him my address before realizing this was a scam I looked up his phone number on Google and found this website and noticed that this has not only happened to me but to someone else that reported it here please beware of this man as of today September 9th 2017 he is still at it scamming people I did go on to text him and told him that this conversation was over and that he was not to call or text me anymore because I am not interested in his offer I am worried that I gave him my address but somehow I think it's going to be okay because he's only trying to get me to cash the check and use a scam that way I would love to talk to the lady who was being scammed by him as well to just go back and forth with our information that we have to get this creep off the internet and scamming anyone else PS this has got to stop I wonder if I should report this to the pet classifieds that I put my dog ad in.

Dave Peterson tried to scam me again, but when I told him how I turned his check over to police he won't talk to me anymore. I did manage to get his number though since he had to try to scam me one more time through another ad. He couldn't just leave well enough alone. Thank goodness he couldn't because now you have his number.

The poor real Dave Peterson that these two are impersonating is still at risk. He's still using this alias as of 6/3/2017. His accomplis is Laura Blackburn, in fact he may be Laura Blackburn.
