I was offered some free gifts for taking a survey. The item I chose was a necklace that only required a shipping fee of $5.99. I thought well, that's not free but isn't it pretty? I ordered the necklace, but then noticed I had accidently added an extra "3" to my shipping address. I went to the internet to search for a phone number to call and called right away to fix my mistake. I was told I would get my necklace in a few days. Well, two weeks later, my account was charged an additional $98.00. No necklace. Of course when trying to call the comapny, they are not open and I have to wait til Monday. So I call today and they tell me that if I had read their terms and conditions I would have known I would be charged this money after the two week trial. What two week trial? What terms and conditions?  There was no mention of a two week trial in the offer. And besides, I never received anything. Now they tell me it could be three days until I am contacted to file a claim and NetSpend (another ripoff artist) says it will take up to ten days for them to investigate and if I do receive a refund, it could be 3 to 5 days for it to post to my account. In the meantime, I am left with a whole $10.53 to live on.
