Chairman Bruce R. Hafner of the Cold Spring Harbor Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners, has cost the fire district over $90,000 in law representation fees in the last year. Incompetance and poor decisions pissed away thousands of hard earned, resident dollars, so that Bruce Hafner could satisfy his "Super Lawyer" mentality. Funds that could have been spent on updated fire/rescue equipment to keep the residents of Cold Spring Harbor safe, were spent on multiple law firms to fire hard working union employees, and cancel the health insurance of retired employees who were promised health insurance for the rest of their lives. These retired employees ( 2 which have already passed away) were also volunteer firefighters for the Cold Spring Harbor Fire Department.
As a lawyer, and a resident of Cold Spring Harbor, I find the actions of Bruce Hafner and the board of fire commissioners disturbing, and disgusting.
Think twice about using the services of the Law Office of Bruce R. Hafner. Incompetance could cost you more than you have bargained for.
