There are a lot of good quality lawyers in Southeast Michigan. James G. Schmier of Schmier law (Birmingham, MI) is not one of them. While representing Case No. GC 09 1653 in the Michigan 46th District Court, he did nothing but collect paper but didn't know what to do. So, he petitioned the court to withdraw and did. He LIED. He conjured/invented sooooo many unthruths. He did this too, presented the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission a "bogus retainer agreement". He did. Yes he did. According to Schmier, he sent (2) copies of the retainer agreement to client via U.S. mail but neither of the two were returned to him. Laugh. Go ahead and laugh. Laugh, laugh, laugh. The cleint NEVER received either of the two retainer agreements because he never submitted them. A retainer agreement between Schmier and client was NEVER discussed. Client, additionally was referred to the law office of Jack L. Jaffe (Madison Hts, MI). Jaffe was out of town. Schmier just happened to be there (jaffe's office), thought he could/would pick up business. He did. He got in the way, got himself into a mess Case No. GC 09 1653 but got out of it. After eight months of doing nothing, he (Schmier) said "this case is hard".  He said that, this case is hard .  Client accompanied by a Birmingham Police Office (Jeffrey Whipple) retrieved all case files from Schmier at his Birmingham Office, December 2009. He, (Schmier) NEVER had conversations with Office Whipple concerning escorted client.  He said he did.  He LIED.  He compromised and damaged a police officers reputation.
