Law Office Of Mitchell N. Kay, P.C Rip off of unexisting account New York, New York
*Consumer Comment: Info for you
They said I owed a past due from 1 year ago of $491.76 and willing to settle my account for $295.07 but I had to make the payments immediately. When I called back I could barely understand what the representative was saying. He sounded like he was on a cell phone in the middle of India. I faxed to the number they told me 212-330-9668 and then I called them and they replied that it will take 9 months to send me the underlying invoice. If this is a real debt it shouldn't be taking more than 30 days. This company does not sound reputable and I found more than 100 ripoff reports!!!!!

Lawyer Mitch Kay is also involved with Plaza Associates and MKM Acquisitions. His organizations have a bad reputation for FDCPA and FCRA violations. They hire under-trained semi-desperate collectors who are hell-bent on a paycheck at any cost.
CAUTION: I recommend you NEVER disclose your bank account or credit card information to a debt collector, as you risk them emptying your account, or maxing out your credit card. If you feel they are reporting on your credit bureau files in error or need assistance in dealing with them, email the details w/your location. Assistance and referral to a consumer legal specialist may be available.
