Law Offices of Eric R. Blank Attorney Blank - What's in a name? Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas Attorney Eric Blank agreed to recover funds owed me by a real estate broker John Bostedt.  Blank neither prepared nor did I sign any written legal representation agreement.  That was the first blank he shot.

The amount that was owed to me by John Bostedt was $11,723.75.  Later on we got the judgement for that amount plus some costs. When I started receiving invoices, I initially paid Blank. In fact, over time I paid his firm well over $10,000 dollars for this case and a couple of other cases.      
Just before the arbitrator decided in my favor, I started to receive what may best be described as an attempt at fiction writing:  multiple invoices.  If anything should have been blank, it should have been the invoices. We agreed that Blank would collect his legal fees from the judgement we got against the real estate broker.  
 
So, how much money did Attorney Blank want?  $1,200?  No.  $2,500?  No.  Attorney Blank demanded $13,706.29 and sued me! Attorney Blank wanted $13,706.29 plus the over $10,000 already paid him on my case for $11,723.75.
 
He has been harassing me for the last 5 years and manipulating the legal system to his advantage; especially when I couldn't afford an attorney to defend myself against him during the Great Recession. 

I am grateful Ripoff exists.  I filed a complaint with the State Bar of Nevada.  This forum allows me to discuss and warn others that EricBlankLaw is no misnomer.
