LC technology convinced me to pay for a recovery that turned out to be useless garbage Clearwater florida

 It's interesting to me to find other people who have posted on here about this company and they had a very similar experience. This company seems to think its ok to charge customers for recovered data even if they fail to recover a single good file the customer agrees to pay for, but instead provide a bunch of garbage and hold out their greedy hand and expect payment. I own a recovery business and sent recovery jobs to LC. The last one they convinced me to pay for a partial recovery because of incomplete recovery results. What I got was a bunch of absolutely useless data. When I say useless I mean there was not a single good file. In the industry if we can't recover everything a customer needs, we call it a partial recovery and charge less. If we recover nothing but garbage then we call it unrecoverable. Unscrupulous companies might try to convince a customer to pay for a partial recovery if they recover useless garbage. Maybe they convince themselves they've "technically" recovered data, even though it's meaningless data and might as well be giving the customer a box of rocks. Either way it's wrong, shady, deceitful and clearly not what the customer wants or needs. I spent four years trying to give them a chance to make good on this. I pointed out that there's no way you can label a recovery as partial if there isn't a single good file, and their only response was to point out that I agreed to the recovery. People agree to buy things all the time only to find out later they've been scammed. It only makes it more insulting to have someone justify it by saying you agreed to pay for it. It only amounts to "gotcha sucker". Well, thank god for yelp and other review sites so you can really get your money's worth for an unscrupulous deal.
