Thinking of laser correction surgery at Lasik Plus?? THINK AGAIN.

On August 31st 2006, I had conventional blade laser vision correction at LasikPlus. Ever since then, my vision has been poor. I now suffer from severe starbursts, glare, halo and ghost vision in ALL lighting conditions. This is due to Higher Order Aberrations (HOAs) which were a result of the procedure. PreOp HOAs measurements were 5.6% and 2.5%, with PostOp measurements 61% and 50.4%.

As you can see, the procedure dramatically raised these figures. Also as a result of the lasik surgery I now have blurred vision in one eye, headaches, light sensitivity and constant dry eye that drops do little to alleviate
There is no fix for my eyesight and in fact I have been strongly advised not to have anymore surgery as the risks far outweigh the benefits. So, I still wear glasses to correct the vision in my left eye. Unfortunately, these corrective lenses do nothing to correct the visual side effects left by the surgery.
No one at LasikPlus verbally expressed the dangers of laser surgery nor did they explain or offer a custom procedure which I would have benefitted from.

In fact, I could have had the surgery the *very* first time I walked in the office, save for the fact the surgeon was out that day! Their caviler attitude towards a potential life changing procedure is most frightening.
It is my firm belief that I received substandard care from LasikPlus and that there are no doubt others that have too.

I trusted LasikPlus with my eyesight and they ruined it. Dont make the same mistake. Keep your glasses.
