I needed my clothes dryer fixed. I have AHS. No problem with them just the stupid contractor they sent out. They came out on a Monday. Guy that worked on it was totally incompetent. Said that I needed new roller and belt. He ordered parts on his own (not through company) and then reschedule appt. to come out Friday of same week.
I called the applicance company to see where their guy was and when he was coming to fix my dryer. THEY HAD NO RECORD OF THEM SERVICING MY DRYER, ORDERING PARTS OR RESCHEDULE TO FIX MY DRYER! It gets better. The guy also lived out in the boonies and they could not get a hold of him - his truck broke down with my parts on his truck. They CASHED MY CHECK even before I rec'd service. This is against the Deceptive Trade Practices Act which I called them and told them that. They don't care. I do though. I work with lawyers and warned them that it doesn't take me much to start a lawsuit. They still don't care. But I do.
I spoke to AHS again and they gave me my own person. She called LCS again and they came out the following Tuesday. Still no dryer. I had to go to laundromat over 5 times (the expense and inconvenience was incredible)! Another tech came out "their best own" according to one of LCS's representatives. This guy replaced the belt and told my husband that he replaced the roller wheels also - he did not - but he charged AHS for this. The dryer still didn't work. The new "best tech" guy said that my drum was warped and that is why it made that noise. I told him it heated up but there isn't any air - even a layman like me knew it was the blower wheel or something to do with the blower. This guy didn't have a clue.
I called AHS and they sent out another company. After 2 weeks without a dryer I finally rec'd great service from Mr. Appliance in Garland. The guy came out - he was late and still arrived after his scheduled time due to bad weather! He called me after 6:00 p.m. to tell me he was on his way. I bet the other company wouldn't have done that. It was the blower wheel which the other company didn't even diagnose. What a bunch of losers.
I want this company out of business. They need to go back to Houston or wherever they came from. They also need to lose their contract with AHS which I am currently working on. What fun!
DO NOT USE LCS APPLIANCE SERVICE - they don't service.
