My husband and I have been looking for a Shih tzu puppy in our state for a very long time. We finally found a male shih tzu puppy at LDR Kennels. He came home with us when he was 8 weeks old. He played and acted like a normal dog for the first day and then he started fading and fading fast. We took him to the vet and he confirmed that Otis has Parvo. We have an adult shih tzu at home and thought maybe Otis got it from him but we had him checked he does not have it. The puppy went from LDR Kennels to my house, no where else. The only place he got this horrible sickness!
LDR Kennels are denying that he has Parvo because she said, "he got his parvo shot, he cant have Parvo." They denied having anything to do with this dog get Parvo, but the truth is they are the reason my dog has Parvo. I have learned my lesson about breeders, I need to do more research before I buy a dog from breeders.
Otis has been hospitalized and is getting the parvo treatment. The vet said he is responding to the treatment but he is not out of the woods. The vet has given him a 50/50 chance right now. We will do what it takes to save our dog!
Anybody out there that is looking for a dog, Please don't go to LDR Kennels. If my puppy has Parvo then the rest of their dog probably have it too!!
