On 9/9/05 I signed a contract to purchase "hot transfer" leads (Leads Search Network telemarkets for mortgage leads then transfers the phone call to me while the customer is still on the phone). I told the rep (Thomas) that I wanted to wait until after football season as I am a coach for my Son''s team and in the evening (the most effective time to do this) I was only available on Tuesday. Thomas assured me that they could provide me leads on Tuesdays, I signed the contract. I was told that I would begin receiving leads the following Tuesday (9/13).

I waited for the phone to ring, it didn''t happen. I was later told by Thomas that they had computer problems and this would be fixed. I continued setting my Tuesday evenings aside (all the while calling this company to confirm that I should be receiving leads at that time) and received NO leads.During this time period, I was no longer able to contact Thomas, but began speaking to Benjamin Leviton (I believe him to be the owner). On or about 10/5/05 after 3 weeks of no leads, I asked Ben for a refund of my $750. He said he could do this, but asked if I could give them another chance. He promised me 20 free "exclusive" leads (telemarketed leads that are not live transferred, but not sold to anyone else) and promised more effort the next Tuesday (10/12/05). I agreed to give it a try again.

I received ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AGAIN (not even the free exclusive leads that were promised)! On 10/24/04 I again requested a refund. Ben said he would process it immediately. I called him on 10/28 as no refund was indicated with my credit card company. Ben said it had been processed, but it might a few more days to show up for me. I expressed that his $750 charge to me showed up the day I authorized it, he insisted that credits to the card don't work the same way. I waited. On 11/4 (nearly 2 weeks after his promise of a refund and with no indication of such) I again called Ben inquiring. He said that he would check into this and call me the following day. He didn't call. When I called him on 11/7 he apologized stating that he "obviously wasn't in that following day and was sorry he made a promise he couldn't fulfill". He said the credit had not been issued, but that he would now process it immediately.

On 11/8/05 I filed a complaint with the BBB. Their closing summary on 12/6/05 is as follows:

Case #: 117334

I called Ben Leviton immediately, he apologized profusely and requested I not escalate this situation. He promised to have my check to me before the end of 2005. I emailed him a reminder on 12/26/05 and have received nothing.

My latest contact with Ben was approximatley 2/9/06 and he promised to have a check to me before the end of the following week (2/17/060. Of course I have received nothing.

I have been mislead and obviously lied to here on numerous ocassions. The only promise this company has ever kept was in promptly CHARGING me $750 in the first place. I have NEVER before complained to the BBB or ripoff report. It might be helpful for you to know that (in my research) this company''s only BBB listing is from their previous location in Orlando, FL. My lack of ANY fair treatment from these people causes me to ask for your help in resolving this matter. PLEASE contact me for ANY additional information. Thank you.

Ben Leviton Lead Search Network

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, December 03, 2007

Mr. Leviton did refund $400 of my $750. He did not uphold his promise to send me 15 hot transfers. He did provide me with 2 leads, neither one of which met the criteria that was agreed to. He agreed to credit back to me those 2 leads and fulfill the promise of 15. I never got anything more from him. At this point, I don't want any more unfulfilled promises of leads. I would like my remaining $350.

I will update this again to report on the outcome of the leads promised.
