My Mastercard was charged $74.95 12/30/06 without my consent! I never heard of this company "Leanrx.net" nor have I ever searched them on the web. When I called to dispute this with my credit card company I was told thy tried to charge my card again $69.95 on 1/12/07; however they were able to prevent then charge from being approved since it was just pending.

I did look up this website and found that there are numerous complaints about the same thing happening to other people. The customer service website given "support@leanrx.net" states that it is under maintenance but when I called the phone number listed on my credit card statement 1-800-304-8447 from the start is asks what the credit card number is that was charged & so I put the number is since I cancelled that account number with my credit card company & this automated system says that my credit card will be refunded $74.95. Not even talking to a live body or getting a live person to talk to.

I'm very angry & upset this happened & would like to know who this company is & how they found they could just charge my credit card without my consent.

Apparently if you look on the website for leanrx you will see that this happens continuously to other people & this needs to be stopped. Please research this & help me and the other people this is happening to. This can't be allowed to keep happening; especially to those who don't look at their statements.

Please advise on what you can do to investigate this or refer me to someone who can take care of this!

Thank you

Peggy

(1>CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it!Make sure theymake the Rip-off Report.. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
