In November Justin Bedillion, claiming to work for EPS (Electronic Payment Systems) came into my business offering credit card processing services. He had a business card and gave the same speech that my previous representative had given... I had no reason to not believe what he was telling me. He wanted to see my current lease for my processor/terminal and guaranteed that he could beat their rates... He offered a "Flat rate of $30 per month. No per transaction fees and 0% on sales". He said he could cancel my current lease, "No Problem"...
Right away fees started coming out of my account. When I received my "Welcome Packet" in the mail I noticed that all of the numbers/fees had been changed and there were pages of the lease that I had never seen yet my initials were on the bottom of them all!! Long story short, I had to close my account. I am from a town so small that we don't even have a stop light, and there are now a total of 7 local businesses involved.
I tried explaining to Lease Finance Group what had happened and that there was forgery/fraud involved. Not only did they not care or not want to listen to what I had to say, they ARGUED with me insisting that there wasn't. Like they were there to see it! They call me DAILY demanding payment and when I try to explain, the man talks over me or argues with me. I even sent them a copy of the police report (with 5 of the businesses on it) and the guy from LFG YELLS at me saying, "There is NO fraud here ma'am!!". I told him I was not paying it to go ahead and turn it over to the legal department (since this was what he kept threatening to do) and he says, "No, ma'am, I am going to continue to call you every day until this matter is resolved." I told him to go ahead and that I would tell him the same thing tomorrow... Today, he called my business and I told him the same thing I told him yesterday... I AM NOT GOING TO PAY THIS. I hang up the phone and 30 SECONDS later my CELL PHONE rang... IT WAS HIM!! How they got that number I do not know. I asked him why in the world he would call my cell phone after literally JUST hanging up with me and his response was "It is a different phone number. I will continue to call all numbers available until this is taken care of"... When I got home tonight my 9 year old son told me that they also called my house!! How are these people getting away with this? The harassment has stressed me to death!! After reading all these complaints and with so many having the same story WHY is this place still in business?
If the Chicago office has been shut down what can I do to get these people off my back before my credit is completely destroyed?

Assuming Northern lease company is a different name same company as Lease Finance group. Yes? If so, LFg out of chicago though being prosecuted by our Attorney General and closing their doors you still need to file papers here in illinois PRONTO..

Jason~ I HAVE quit paying them...Back in November. That is why I am getting these phone calls. I closed my account in December and opened a new account. Today is June 11, SIX months later, I got my bank statement today and there was an $85 fee taken out...FROM LEASE FINANCE GROUP!! My question was HOW in the he** did they get this account number? I made SEVERAL phone calls and found out that the company I lease my business sign from (Northern Leasing Company) is actually the same company! Lease finance group got my account number off of a check payment that I had sent to Northern Leasing Company and debited my account!! I filed a police report and the prosecutor said this is theft but I had to know the actual name of the person who initiated the transaction... ALL day on the phone and I found out. Hopefully this screw up on their end will FINALLY give me the break I needed in prosecuting these guys! How do I contact the people you mentioned?

Don't get me wrong I am with you....First, read all my posts now. Stop paying them. Get caller ID on all your phone lines. Stop answering the phone. File complaints with the FCC, FTC and the attorney general of Illinois and New York. COntact your bank. If they don't help you, simply tell them you are walking with every penny out of their bank. The sales rep....ruin their reputation. File a police report against them. Call the newspaper and radio stations and local chamber of commerces.....You must make this YOUR NEW HOBBY. LFG won't stop. This problem won't go away. My problem went away after 25 months. SO be patient. jason balloon creations urbana illinois
