Hello,
I'm another casualty of the Lease Finance Group LLC; I had faith and believed that I was renting a credit card machine and service from a reputable company. Was I ever wrong? I was tricked into believing it was a regular lease, and after payment the credit card machine would be mine once the lease period was over.

I was lead to believe the lease was for two years. I had no idea this company was setting me up to stealing my money for services they were not and would not perform. I didnt have a chance. I never used or made one transaction through this company and yet I was forced to pay them for two years to pay off the lease they told me I could not cancel.

After the two year period, I thought this should be the end of it and I would have paid the lease, but the amount was always over 3k each time I received a bill.

I tried to contact the company several times by phone and letters to no avail my letters and phone calls about my balance went unanswered.

I then just refused to pay any more on an item and service I never used and would ever use.

This company had forced me to pay $2136.00 and still claiming another $3197.00 showing on my credit report as a CHARGE-OFF SKIP Bad Debit. I PAID THEM!

The credit card machine leased to me in the catalogue sold brand new between $ 500 to $600 dollars.

This was something I would never thought would ever happen, but it did and until recently when I found the "Ripoff Report" Ive found out Im not alone. How many others are there out there like me.

To date nothing has been done. This company has not answered any of my calls or letters. I refuse to be blackmailed any longer by way of my credit report.

A Good Lesson Learned

AUTHOR: Diane - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, October 20, 2007

This was my very first attempt at having a business. I wanted to offer Credit card service at the little flee market where I sold on weekends. I had no idea that what I thought to be a reputable business would take such advantage of a newbie! Now I'm very careful, there are vultures in every line of business and I never sign anything without understanding it completely. Wish I had someone like you around then , my credit still reflects this balance due on a machine I no longer have or a service I've ever used..Thank you

Hi Dianne
I guess I was very lucky.Lease Finance only received about $120.00 from me.After being with them for about 3 months my bank statements told me a different story.I did some checking on my own and found out that the machine they were leasing to me you could buy out right for $150.00.The problem with the salesman(school teacher) was the only way to have the service you had to lease the machine.from Lease Finance. After 4 months I put a stop payment for the amount each and every month of $30.00. I then found out where the saleman lived and hand carried the machine to his apartment and left it in front of his door because he was not home at the time.Abanco on the other hand continued to take out a additional $30.00 per month or whatever they deemed was nescessary.I finally had to put a stop payment from Abanco.Lease Finance then began calling my business line up to 20 times a day for about 6 months.I bought a call blocker which did wonders and then filled out a complaint with the Minnesota Attorney General. The funny thing was I never sent it in LOL.I only sent a copy of it to Lease Finance LOL.In 2 weeks time I received a letter from Lease Finance that said they were going to drop all charges. In the mean time the other company Abanco kept trying to take money out and threating me with law suits and turned it over to a collection company called American Recovery Systems who I think finally gave up because I blocked there calls too.I did have to close my business checking account and open up a new one.One thing I learned was be careful of what you sighn .
