Legal Affadavit Firm - Steve Johnson threatened me said I was going to be arrested for fraud & stolen funds I supposedly received in my bank account. Chicago Illinois

I received a phone call from a Steve Johnson who said he was affiliated with a legal affadavit firm. He wouldn't give me his address. The only reason I got the city& state was from my caller ID. He asked me if I had a lawyer because I was being brought up on charges of fraud and stolen funds from a CashNet Payday Loan Center that was deposited in my bank account & I never paid back.

He knew my address my ss# bank account information all of it! I asked him what the original amount of this loan was and when this transaction took place. He didn't want to answer me but did. The original amount was $690 and it was supposedly deposited in my bank account on 12/07/2007. He said if I didn't take care of this these charges would be downloaded on monday & in the courts by tuesday & I would then be arrested. I was very upset needless to say.

I managed to get myself together & asked him at least 2 or 3 times for a fax# so I could fax him my bank statement for 12/07/2007 to prove to him that no such transaction took place on that date for that amount & from that loan center. For that, no transaction for that amount or from that loan center at anytime. I also told him that that was the only bank account I have & I would know. He would not give me a fax#. He was frustrated & said to fax it to the court & wasn't going to discuss it any longer & hungup.
