Legal Affidavit - US National Bank Phone Scam Santa Ana California

Rcved first call on Sep 22, 2008. Man with heavy mid-eastern accent calling himself Shawn Smith (714-384-9647)from Legal Affidavit, US National Bank. He proceeded to read a script and told be to listen and all my questions would be answered. Of course, as with everyone else, he accused me of taking a loan and not paying back and then there were the threats of arrest and jail unless I pay them or send them proof that the debt was paid. However, he refused to provide any documentation of the debt stating it was against the law. He told me I would be sorry etc....same old, same old.

I continued to challenge him which only increased the anger mode. He was screaming and I hung up. He called two more times that night. The next day, the same number rang with a new name of Jackson Desouza. It went to voice mail where he left a very ominous message. I called him back for the sport of it. He told me his investigative team was coming to my house. I said great because I wanted to make sure that I had fresh coffee and cupcakes. Afterall, we are known for our hospitality in the South. He did not appreciate my comment and told me I was wasting his time. No futher calls that day.

On Wednesday, I called back and spoke with a Kay Desouza to let them know that their investigative team did not show up. I apologized if I missed them and I asked if we could reschedule. These guys have no sense of humor.

Anyway, good job with shutting down their lines. These guys are like roaches. They will find the cracks.

Just say no to these vermin.
