Legal Help Services Nicole Vannoy Amanda Michael Parker/Hutchison Con Artist took advantage of a child in serious danger. When I called and explained a very complicated, and sad situation of a father desperate to get his child out of a dangerous situation they told me they would help with no problem for a low down payment of 250 dollars, and then only 39 dollars a month for every month we needed them after. This is bulls***, as they took my money for them to find us a totally different lawyer that we could of found on our own. Dayton Ohio

I was/ still am in desperate need to help my fiance get his 9 year old son out of a very bad home situation. He lives with his mother and we've been fighting in court for over four years. The judge is very favoring the mother, as usual in a family court case. But in this case he's in serious danger every single day. We have been very unfortunate in trying to get the judge to see the real issues here. I called Lawyer Help Services to try to help my fiance get some legal help instead of working with public defenders who haven't even listened to us let alone done a good job representing him in court. I spoke with Nicole who told me they could absolutely help us. With a low down payment of 250 and 39 dollars a month as we need them. Of course I paid it. Then found out it's nonrefundable and they aren't even lawyers!!! My fiance called to give them more information about the case and to see where to go from here. They have totally ripped me off. They never told me that I would still have to pay another retainer fee when they found us another lawyer. I never would of paid to have them find us someone when I could of found them on my own. I was led to believe that she would be representing him in court. I am so upset, and embarrassed that I now have to find another lawyer that is actually a lawyer. I can't believe that people make their livings off from desperate people who are only trying to get themselves out of bad situations. I am so outraged and I truly hope that someone can stop these people. Emily from Phelps NY

legalhelpservices.net is not a law firm

AUTHOR: Iowa - (United States)

I have not yet decided to purchase their $250 program with $39 each month they are needed, but so far I can see the value in what they offer.  They claim to offer a 25% off reduced rate on the lawyer once you find one, and they handle alot of the back and forth between the lawyer you end up choosing that saves money.  They also offer free initial consultations until you find the lawyer you want to use.  Sure they are not lawyers themselves, but they are an intermediarary and rate reduction company.

I think if they presented themselves as a law firm thats just wrong, but for $250 is a drop in the bucket when you are talking lawyers in general.  I also was not told their fee was nonrefundable.  I ALWAYS research companies before paying any money, trying to find out as much about them as I can.  Again, I never thought they were lawyers, I loved the personal attention I got from my assistant, she asked the right questions and made me feel that my case was important to her.
