Legal Mediation Practice: Rita Fisher Employment threatening Jacksonville Florida

I received a call this morning around 9:15 regarding a debt. I questioned the contact information of the debtor because the amount of the debt was ridiculous. Rita then told me that she could not provide me with any informaiton because it would be a "conflict of interest" She stated that her company was a law firm and that if this debt was not paid by 1:00 pm central time that my job would be in jeopardy. She stated that when my boss was informed of this debt that they would ask me to leave the company.

Once I offered to see what I could do to set a payment plan on the debt she told me that I would be considered as a refussal to pay. She then told me that if I could not pay what totaled to more than 50% of the total balance that I could not qualify for a financial hardship.

Once I asked her what would happen if I contacted the company that the debt originated from and negotiate a settlement she stated that they would direct me back to her. I can not believe these threatening methods of what "will" happen to me if I don't hire an attorney to represent me or pay this debt by 1:00 eastern time today. This is unbelievable.
