Legends Lake Nona, Orlando, FLorida PISSED TENANT, MY SISTER, MY GUEST, TRESPASSED AND FINGER PRINTED, EMBARASSED BY POWER HUNGERY VANESSA SILVA Orlando, Florida

I have been a resident at Legends of Lake Nona for 3 years. Have had a few problems with the girls in the office nothing big until this past week end. I own my own business and have an office in my apartment. Which I have had for three years. I have recently lost my internet connection in my apartment and in order to do business I must have access to the internet. I have placed an order for service through AT&T. But in the mean time I must go to the Clubhouse to do the work that is required. My sister is a business consultant of mine and visits with me at least once every 3 months to help with quartley reports and to update banking , etc. This past Thursday, while she was here as an invited guest of mine, She went to the Clubhouse to use the internet to do some of the work she needed to accomplish while she was here. I myself was at my warehouse preparing my home show displays for a home show that comming weekend. While my sister was, who by the way is a 54 year old professional who runs a multi millon dollar business, and who's husband happens to be a recently retired Major General in the United States marine Corp, after 36 years years of service to our country, needed copy paper for the copy machine in the Club house computer work center. She went to the office and request if she could have some paper from , Vanessa Silva, Leasing Consultant. Vanessa responed yes sure and then while she was handing her the paper she asked my sister if she was a resident here. My sister informed Vanessa she was not that she was a guest of mine to help and I was at work and she was just trying to accomplish some business. Let it also be known that one one was in the computer center at the time but my sister, so she was not taking computer time off and paying resident. Vanessa Silva, informed my sister she could not use any of the apartment complexes facilities unless I the resident was with here. My sister explained I was at work and that fine, thinking that the next time I would acompany Her. My sister returned to the computer room, to print off the work she had completed and soon after Vanessa Silva, came into the room and told my sister he had to leave "NOW" and that I was in violation of my lease by her being there. My sister was very embarassed by this situation and left confused at to what she had done. When I came home it was ater office hours and she explained the situation to me and I contacted Vanessa Silva the next Morning Saturday to ask what the story was. Vanessa say it was a apartment complex policy that residents have to acompany guest.I tried to explain the situtation to her about what my 54 year old sister, old enough to be her mother was doing there but she would have no hear of it. Vanessa immediatly became very defense to me and would not listen or let me get a word in edgewise and hug up the phone on me. The next day Sunday, My sister and I went to the Clubhouse with our laptops in order to get the work she was unable to finish Friday accomplished. We sat it the clkubhouse area. I had forgotten my papers in my apartment, and wanted to get Vanessa Silva's card anyway, went to her office and explained to her I was leaving to get my papers and my sister was going to sit there with our computers while I ran up stairs and got what I needed. Vanessa said by no means could she sit there she must leave with me, which would have meant draging our computers up stairs and downstairs again and re-setting up. I then asked Vanessa for a copy of my lease which I never have received, and she made me a copy. I at that thime told her how rude it was for her to hang up on be the day before, anf that I have a daughter her age and She would never do such a thing. Vanessa then began to go off on me again and stated "I DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH TO LISTEN TO YOU". And she was going to have me trespassed from the clubhouse even though I am a resident. She dialed 911 and several other people and I sat down to wait for the Police Sheriff to arrive. While waiting I was reviewing the lease and did not find one clause pertaining to guest except one: Page 2 number 5 OCCUPANCY which reads, Only those persons whose names appear on this lease may occupy the apartment without our prior written consent EXCEPT guest for not more than 7 consecutive days or 14 total. The apartment may be used soley for private housing. You may not assign this lease or sublet any portion of your apartment. If you will be absent for more than 14 days, you must notify us in writing. No where in the lease does it address the use of the facilty by invited guest of the tenent at the complex. There is one page on the lease that addresses clubhouse facilities and it states; TENANTS MUST COMPLETE THE CLUBHOUSE ACCESS AGREEMENT PRIOR TO USING ANY OF THE FACILITIES LOCATED AT THE CLUBHOUSE AND PRIOR TO RECEIVING FACILITY PASS. I do not have a copy of such agreement , and either does a friend of mine who alos lives at the complex. I requested one from Vanessa and refused to even talk to me. When the Sheriff arrived Vanessa requested that i be removed from the ckubhouse and given a trespass warning, and if I did not leave I should be arrested. The sheriff explained to Vanessa that it was a civil issue, I am a paying tneant and she could not have me removed. She then demanded that they trespass my sister, who was told on Thursday that I had to be with her, that she was not welcomed and must be trespassed. They wrote out a trespass warning to my sister and finger printed her as well as waited for her and I to leave the Clubhouse or she would be arrested. At that time Embarassed, humiliated, we left and she was told if she entered the clubhouse again they could be called and she would be arrested. SHE WAS AND IS MY GUEST. i feel that we both wer mistreated my Vanessa Silva, Leasing Consultant , with Legends Lake Nona. So in closing DO NOT RENT HERE, IF YOUR PARENTS OR FRIENDS VISIT FOR ANY TIME THEY MUST REMAINED CONFINED TO YOU APARTMENT, AND NOT ABLE TO USE THE POOL, CLUBHOUSE, OR WALK THE PROPERTY UNLESS YOU ARE WITH THEM, AND THEN AT Vanessa Silva's discresion they coluld be tresspassed at any time. JUST DEPEND ON HER MOOD. AGAIN AVOID LEGENDS LAKE NONA AT ALL COST THE OFFICE STAFF IS RUDE,AND OFFENSIVE. Semper Fi, Marines especially stay away.
