Car was wrecked in December.  Taken to Leif's in January. I remained in constant contact with Leifs. Car was not reutrned until March. Upon pick up, I was advised if anything goes wrong I am to contact them immediately. After leaving the lot, 20 minutes, check engine light comes on. Arrived home, the cooolant was bone dry. We called Leif's advised of light and lack of fluids. We were advised that this was not on their list is repairs and to speak with Adjuster. I called insurance, they referred me back to Leif's. I had the car checked and two sensors were shown as malfunctioning. The light persisted. We had it diagnosed and it comes back as P0026 and P0027 Intake Solenoid and Exhaust valve Solenoid.  Lefi's claims per email I can attach, if available not their issue.  We received no help.  No check engine light was on until we picked it up. Leif's claims no repsonsibility and insurance won't pay unless Leif's could say it was due to the front end damage from the accident, well that did not happen, as they did not  look at it again as they too wanted to charge me, although they did aquiese to at least look at in Tigard. I live in Vancouver and work 7 am to 7 pm. Outside any hourse I can get it to them.

The next issue: I ended up having to deal with my agent for everything.  They did not make the calls as their ad suggested. It came back to me to figth for it all.

Third: I was owed a refund. I was told they do the refunds  two times a month. I requested it be ready when I picked up the car and was advised it was not and would be due within 10 to 15 days.  I called my contact on March 15th, was advised it was cut that date and in the mail by the next day. I made an appointment for the repairs I still believe that Lief's should have looked at and assessed to be repaired.  I had to cancel that appointment based on the fact no check has arrived.  It is now April 2nd, I made a  call and learned the check was never cut nor mailed.  I was told sometime this week. I protested and advised I wanted a courier to pick it up. I was then advised they will call me when its ready April 3 after 1:00.

This has cost me the cost of the courier, the 120.00 cost for diagnosis, fluid for the car and now additional time to deal with this.

I found their advertising to be false and  bad business practices.
