I filled out a survey on the internet and was told that I had a free gift comming. I had one or two things to choose from. I didnt need anything offered but was told that for 7.99 shipping I could have a pair of free gift sunglasses that are ordinarly much more expensive. The sunglasses arrived after a while and they were not anything that a sane person would have bought at their usual $100. approx price. There was nothing in the box but sunglasses and a sunglass case.
When I ordered the free gift from the internet I could not get the order to go through. The computer said to to check a box first. This is a free gift for completeing the survey. So I checked the box saying I would honor their conditions. Which I believed to be fee glasses except for shipping of 7.99.
The sunlasses showed up after a couple of weeks or so. There was nothing in the box but the sunglasses. A second pair showed up about a month later which is today 08/30/2013. I called the number of their 3rd party phone service. I was informed that the free sun glasses had now become about 100.00 and the second pair was going to be around the same amount. Issac said that the 7.95 was a trail period, that the glasses were not free. He futher informed me that I was on a non refundable one pair a month plan. This is absoulte fraud and theft. I was told by " Issac" the third party phone person that no refund is ever given.
I have sent an e-mail to Leo Sunglasses to make sure that I am cancelled but since I have already been told there will be no refund I know that I have been robbed.

This is an update to Leo Shades complaint number 1080546. I called Visa after calling the third party phone service that Leo Shades uses. I was told that even if the Leo Shade charges were made through shady trickery that they were not illegal in Visa's opinion. They did call the third party phone number and spoke to a employee of the third party number.
I then sent an e-mail to Leo Shades demanding a full refund. Their third party phone service person Issac had told me that refunds are never made but I still demanded a refund. I had alresdy requested cancellation of their sun glasses a month club, which I had never joined in the first place.
I received a reply from Leo Shades saying that my case had been appealed to their senior management and that they would refund $49.99 on the second pair of sun glasses that I had not ordered if I would send those sun glsses back. They did refund to my credit card $49.99 and I did mail the second pair of unordered sun glases back. I am still out $95.00 plus the shiping for snding the second pair of sun glasses back.
I have now had my Visa card number cancelled and replaced with a new number in case Leo Shades decides to get me enrolled in something else without my knowledge.
