We purchased a Samsung plasma tv from Leon's and they gave us a "free" Samsung 10 MP camera as a bonus. ( worth $250 )The camera was not why we bought the tv, but we were told that it was a "free" gift. So be it.
Two weeks later we saw an ad from East Hamilton Radio with the exact tv as ours for $ 200 less. We called Leon's to inquire about the price match guarantee, and we were told that because we received a "free" camera, they would not match the lower price. After some discussion, we were also told that even if we did not take the "free" camera, the price would be the same as what we paid anyway. This makes no sense at all.
We were given many excuses as to why they would not match the price, including EHR delivers for a charge, and Leon's is no charge, to which I replied that I have a truck, so I could have picked up the tv from EHR to save the freight.
Bottom line; Leon's does not stand behind their price match guarantee!!

Afer finding yet another store with the same tv at a lower price, we contacted Leon's, and informed the manager of the new ad. He researched the price and conceded to refund us $100.
