I recently encountered LETSPLAYBALLTICKETS.COM from a Craigslist posting advertising discounted tickets for sporting events. After being redirected to their website I found my event and attempted to make my purchase. After multiple attempts of my card being declined I called them and was told that sometimes it's an error with my address or phone information attached to my card. I corrected what I thought was possibly the problem and with the customer service agent of the phone my order APPEARED to complete. I was sent a confirmation email of the transaction along with a Fedex tracking number for my tickets that would be coming. Yeah!

I go to sleep and I'm awaken in the morning with a phone call 14 hours later saying that my card was now declined. After being put on hold I immediately called my bank and verified that indeed my account was in good standing and that there was no possible way my card could've been declined. My bank also informed me that there had been no attempts to even charge my card for the amount specified in my confirmation email.

The agent then comes back and I explain to him that everything is fine with my bank. I then say well let's just run the transaction now with my bank on the line in case of error and he informs me that my tickets are no longer available for the event and that the only tickets available are more expensive in a different section! I asked repeatedly to speak with his supervisor but I was told that I didn't need to and that the reason my tickets were released was because my card was declined and that I would have to call the owner of the tickets which was ASC Ticket to discuss further.

I then call ASC Ticket. They have no record of the transaction EVER taking place and I find out that the EXACT same tickets I was trying to purchase are AVAILABLE! I make the purchase and save $20 somehow and I'm somewhat happy.

DO NOT TRUST that you are confirmed  for your event with this company! You may potentially miss that special event thinking that you are confirmed when you're not. The customer service is the worst that I have ever experienced in 41 years of my life and they blame all of the problems on anything but their own error.

BUYER BEWARE!!
