Levitz And Stain N Safe faulty merchandise and bad service agreement company Torrance California

I purchase a whole new living room set and it was supposed to take 3 weeks due to back order. We recevied our merchandise 8 weeks later scratched and deffective. It took more than five delivery refusals that Levitz told me to look for other merchandise and we refused. We didn't purchase any insurance and the time of the purchase un til we struck an agreement that Levits was going to put it on for free and get the merchandise fixed at that. We were charged for the stain and safe (I don't know what for), and we accepted the furniture. well four months later, the big couch broke, and mind you we took very good care of our furniture, and a piece of wood fell off the love seat.

I emailed and the claim was denied. I called numerous times to find out why this claim was not getting processed and they stated that the furniture was damaged to begin with, that there is no reason why there should be a claim and that we need to call the company that sent us the furniture. To my knowledge nobody cares about customers that spend money for "good quality furniture" and its cheap crap. I had spoken to someone in corporate and stated that she was the president's secretary that works next to him and she said it wasn't her problem and things like "are you done?". I went back to the store and the manager stated that any other given person that is tired of their furniture and wants to exchange it is fine but people that have legitimate problems they just brush off.

I still have my crappy furniture that I have to live with(broken at that, and I don't have time to take them to small claims court. Beware people, they are a headache and they have poor customer service, they only want your money.
