LFG Lease Finance Group LLC unauthorized debits, threatened saying they have SSN, took thousands of dollars, want credit card machine that is already returned. Chicago Illinois

I tried very hard to resolve this issue. Even though I returned the equiptment years ago and they claimed they never recieved it, I went on Ebay and found the exact same machine for sale for $40.00 never opened and in its original box. I purchased it, took photoos and sent it certified mail requesting a return receipt with a signature. They continued to bill me $75.00 a month saying that I never formally canceled. Remember, I have not usd this service for may years and have been billed this money every month. I put a stop payment through the bank so they could no longer debit. They continued to send a bill with threatening collections. I thought I would just write a check for the remaining $225.00 they said I owe just so I could finally get them off my back. I wrote the check and wrot on the check that this is AGAIN confirms my cancelation. I should have taken a picture of this also....they never cashed the check! They continue to bill me $75.00 a month and I think now they claim I owe them over $700.00.

Did you ever get this resolved? We are ending our lease and will cancel soon. I've read that when you send your equipment back they will claim the never received it or will say it's damaged or not working. Just looking for advise on this scam of a business.
