I believe this is another name and phone number for LGS Financial. I was contacted via a telemarketer. The name and number on the ID came up as "LGS Financial, 727-799-2367." They were soliciting a credit card to help me rebuild my credit. The sales rep was persistent in obtaining the routing and account number for my checking account. I resisted giving this information and when I persisted in getting more info. on his company he gave the name as "New Credit Financial Alternatives" and approved when I told him I would check it out with the BBB. I searched the BBB website with both the phone number and "New Credit" name but came up empty. I still was not comfortable and came to this website. I found multiple entries for "LGS" and I feel very confident this is the same company now soliciting with the name "New Credit Financial Alternatives."

NEW CREDIT FINANCIAL IS DISGUSTING!

AUTHOR: Shandra - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 16, 2004

Firstly, they called me at work which made me trusting. I only give my work number for important reasons. So yes...I was taken. Although I questioned the representative...he was swift OR I was slow. Anyhow...he had an answer for everything I asked him. After assuring me the information I was to give him was publicly known anyway...I (like a fool) continued the process. Being leery of what I had agreed to afterwards...I checked the internet for the website the rep had given me over the phone. NOT to my surprise was the site non-existent. STUPID STUPID STUPID...I thought. That's when I saw the link including the company at ripoffreport.com. I then called my bank and arranged to have my account information changed before they could extract any money. THANKS YOU GUYS!

I just wanted to say thank you to all those who posted about this. This site is so much better than the BetterBB!

We got this phone call, a woman called and switched my fiance over to a man, and my fiance kept asking if there was any money involved, and they said no. While he was on the phone with him, I checked them out on this site, and found this. So we got to tell them off while we were on the phone with them. It was awesome! I wish everyone could have this though. It would save so many people!

So thank you again, for everyone that took the time to let everyone know about them. I can't thank you enough! Thanks!!!

Dear BW in Baltimore -
You sure did the right thing by resisting the scam that was being put on you. I was called by them the other day too, and since I've already been scammed once, and had numerous scam attempts put on me, I know now just how the game goes.

When they called me, they said they were "New Credit Financial" and my cell-phone didn't show the name, only the number (which matches the number you gave). But as soon as the guy, who by the way, was a real nice, friendly sounding guy, soon as he told me I was being approved for a non-secured $2,000 credit card, I already knew I was being played. Because I CAN'T get a non-secured credit card with that kind of limit. My credit is not good enough. I know this now. Before though, I was gullible and got scammed for $249 with Guardian Financial. But thanks to "RIP OFF REPORT" I was able to get my money back into my account rather quickly. Then I closed my account so they couldn't scam me behind my back again for the money. If it wasn't for Rip Off Report, I would never have known this company was a scam who has taken several hundred other people for thousands of dollars!! I wouldn't have had a web site to go on and see a stack of other people ripped off by the this company.....I still can't thank Rip Off Report enough.

But you were so right in refusing. I did too. I refused to give this guy an ounce of information about me. He started right off the bat wanting my social security number, etc. I told him there was no way I was going to give him that kind of private info about me. I tell you people.....these scam artists are out there working the phones every day and night, and it just blows me away how they keep on and on. I don't understand how they aren't locked up or something. But it's all a scam from the word go, and remember the plain and simple rule - for any of you people who are new at this and never been taken by one of these companies yet.......the most important thing to remember is this - - -

"IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS!" THERE IS NO BANK, PERSON, OR COMPANY THAT IS GOING TO LOAN SOMEONE THAT MUCH MONEY WHEN THEIR NAME AND RECORD INDICATES THAT THEY'VE NOT PAID OFF PAST LOANS!! NOBODY. America doesn't do business like that. She works on a credit score, and good reputation basis. That's how loans work. Don't be taken by these scums with scams. But if you are ever curious about or just have a gut-feeling about one of these callers, just go to Rip Off Report and find your answer there!!

To any of you who have been taken, remember that the quicker you take action, the better. And don't let any of them get away with it. Report them, do a chargeback on your checking account with a form E to get your money re-deposited! Do whatever you need to do, but don't sit back and do nothing. You are worth more than that. Your money is hard-earned. Don't let some punk just take it and walk away with a smile on their face.

Yes - New Credit Financial and LGS are one in the same.............Thank you Ed Magedson for this precious site. You've saved so many people.
