Liberty AutoCity is a five star Chrysler/Jeep dealer. I had them service my Jeep and was when I received my bill discovered that they charged me 75% over MSRP for the lubricant used and 50% over MSRP for the parts. I checked with other area dealers and the price they charge for the same parts was MSRP, each of four dealers gave me the same numbers. It appears Liberty AutoCity is taking advantage of their customers by overcharging for parts. When I questioned the parts manager I was told this is Liberty AutoCity policy and that Chryslers MSRP is just a suggested price.
I would caution anyone who considers using Liberty AutoCity to check other area dealers first.
I believe it is unethical and dishonest for a Chrysler dealer to increase part prices over Chrysler MSRP. Not what you should expect from a five star rated dealer.
