On 5/11/06 we gave Billy Jo Lamb (employee) a check for $1,100.00 to help restor credit and start process of restoration so that we would be able to use their investors to purchase a home. She has told us on numerous occasions that a packet is coming for us to get started. Nothing has been done. This check was to Liberty First.
We were told the name had been changed to First Consultant. On 9/13/07 we found a home we wanted and faxed them a check for $2,000.00 (as per their request)to make an offer (we were told they had an investor) they did not have an investor, they did not make an offer and they HAVE not returned our money. The home has sold. We have called many, many, many times, we have e-mailed, we have written only to be ignored and lied to over and over again. A good lawyer friend of Bill Lange (the owner of these companies) told us that
Mr. Lange will look out after Mr.Lange and to be prepared for the worse!! We trusted these people. It was a hard time in our life and we were vulnerable and we got taken. We are in our mid 60's and this loss is unbearable.
