Liberty Group Services ripoff catalog credit card fraud Took $200! Madeira Beach Florida

One day I was contacted by this company and they said congratulations you have just been approved for this credit card. I wasn't sure what they were talking about so I asked what credit card specifically. The reply that I got was "Well you are approved for many different ones, not just one." I sat and listened and when she got to the part where I have to pay them $250, I said no I don't want this card. I don't have that kind of money. I was given a customer service phone number and told to call them if I had any problems.

I called the customer service number and told them that I didn't want the card. They told me that my information hadn't been processed yet and to call back in 2 or 3 business days. So I did. They told me that I couldn't cancel because my account was pending.

After the $50 had been taken from my account, I called back and demanded a refund. Since I had already told them numerous times that I didn't want this card. The guy that I talked to said that it would be taken care of and that I would receive my money within 7 to 10 business days.

It had been almost 3 weeks since I had last talked to them and I still hadn't gotten my money back. So for some strange reason I went to the bank to check the balance on my account and an additional $200 had been taken out.

I got on the phone to them and said I want my money, you had no right to take it, after I had already told you that I don't want this card. The lady that I was talking to kept puting me on hold and giving me tons of different reasons why I wouldn't be able to get my money back. Then she finally told me to call back in 10 days and give them the cancellation number that I received and that I would be refunded the $200. Since I didn't have a cancellation number from the previous guy that I talked to I wouldn't be able to get the $50 back.
