On 3 June 2008 I received a call from Mr. Vaughn of Liberty Land Services, St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Vaughn informed me that he had a buyer for my property located in San Bernardino, California. The land had not been listed so he must have obtained information on ownership from the tax rolls. Mr. Vaughn assured me that the buyer had high interest in purchasing my property and that closing on the sale was imminent but that he would need an advance payment from me so that the sales could be closed. In the course of our conversation I advised Mr. Vaughn that I was also interested in selling my residence here in New Mexico, which based on his assurances that this could also be sold within 90 days. He asked for my credit card for processing the charges for all three pieces of property. Based on his assurance that the two properties in San Bernardino were sold and that there was a money back guarantee should either of the three sales not be consummated, I gave him my credit card information.
On 06/04/2008 my credit/debit card was charged $3,098.00. The following day, 06/04/2008 I received a Marketing and Advertising Authorization from Liberty Land Services signed by Dan Macre and a transmittal letter signed by Jeffery Winans. In spite of several telephone calls in attempts to determine the status of the sale of my property, I have heard nothing further from
Mr. Vaughn, Dan Macre, or Jeffery Winans or anyone else claiming a relationship with Liberty Land Services.
It is obvious that Mr. Vaughn of Liberty Land Services is a con artist and Liberty Land Services is a scam. The address given on their letter head is nothing more that a post office box. An address given out by their St. Petersburg office telephone answering service is 403 Seabee Avenue, Naples, FL 34108 but his turns out to be vacant lot.
Mr. McCollum I am 75 years old and my wife is 74 years old. Our sole source of income is social security. We cannot afford to be ripped off by scam artists. Any assistance you can provide in our attempts to recover the $3,098.00 swindled by Liberty Land Services, Mr. Vaughn and his den of thieves will be greatly appreciated.

The first one is the magazines, the second one is "Liberty rewards" which they call with the last four digits of your credit card and will tell you that they are with your credit card company. They lie along with the supervisors and the owners. They tell the customer/victim that if they have any questions what so ever to wait until the end of the recorded disclosure statement, and not to interupt them while they are reading the disclosure statement. They then read it so fast that you dont know what they just said. At the end of it they say OK? If you respond OK then you just gave your recorded permission to charge YOUR credit card that they already have on file. Another way they get people is they tell the customer/victim that no matter what they say in the disclosure statement to ignore it because they are going to do you a favor and waive all charges, but that its very important not to ask any questions during the recording and to just say ok when you here me say ok. BUT really they DO NOT waive the charges. The supervisors do this and all the telemarketers do it in that room. The owners dont care because they are taking your money! They DO NOT report taxes and they DO not take taxes out on their employees.
The third scam that they do is Liberty Land which they scam people there as well. They tell people that they have buyers for their land in which they dont. They get your card info and assure you that the land will be sold in so many days but it does not sell and they charge your card like 3,500
These people that own this business have about three other companies here in the Bay area. The one associated with this telephone number is in Largo Fl. on 66th street. I will be back with the correct address when I get it. I know you cant find the address with the phone number but all I have to do is drive up there to get it because I know exactly where its at.
The supervisors name who runs the "Liberty rewards" program is Harry Levin. He is a Felon and is currently on probation for dealing drugs. He spent some time in prison. His girlfriend Kori ortez or ortega is head of payroll. The owners are Danny, Robert and Lucus
All these people are scum buckets who will prey on you and lie to steal your money.

Robert Vaughn is con artist and a liar. The rip-off report filed is accurate and factual. A formal complaint has been filed with the Florida Attorney General in regards to Mr. Vaughn and Liberty Land Services. Subsequently, Mr. Vaughn changed the name of Liberty Land Services to American Land and continujes with his scam. I have received repeated calls from the new entity over the past several days with the same sales pitch. They are now claiming to have a developer ready to purchase my property in San Bernadino County as "part of their overall plan." All I have to do is pay $799.00 up front for their efforts. My question is. if they have a buyer why do they need payment up front. A commission is only paid if and when my property is sold and is part of the sales contract. I have yet to see a sales contract or written agreement from Mr. Vaughn or any of his con artists. It is clearly a rip off in the making.
If I am not telling the truth why dosen't Mr. Vaughn sue me for slander???

Go to your bank and have them trace the charges to your card to see whose account it goes to and file credit card abuse charges. That would be a good place to start.

First of all Mr Pennington's story has incorrect statements. Mr Pennington did not speak with myself originally. He spoke with my sales rep, Dan Macre. He was contacted to sell his vacant land in CA. He agreed to secure Liberty Land Services to market and advertise his property. Mr Pennington also went through an audio verification system on a recorded line, where he was told what our services were, advertising only, and the cost and terms. I did the verification myself, where he stated he wanted to put his home on the market as well. After the verification he was put on with Dan again and decided to bring his home on board as well. All the paperwork, including marketing authorization, with terms, brochure of our firm, and other informational paperwork, was ent out the next day. Mr Pennington read the Marketing and Advertising authorization, signed and dated it and sent it back to us. It cleary states that we are an advertising firm, for sale by owner only. Never once was Mr Pennington told there was a buyer of any kind for his properties. We have advertised his properties since day one, we have done a few dinner show presentations with them, open houses, and also showcased it at the US Real Estate Expo. We have a excellent report with the BBB. We also have great customer service, with our customers being number 1 priority. We have spoken with Mr Pennington on seeveral occasions about this matter. We have not avoided the situtation, as would someone just taking your money and not providing services.
