Very simple initial quote for a 2 bedroom apartment was $1650. After inventory it went to $1910. I did not have a fridge, washer,dryer,any dressers, computers, mirrors,(They went with us in the car). We did have two beds, a dining room table (40" x 40") with 4 chairs, a sofa and no other chairs. An antique china cabinet (they destroyed), 2 flat screen TV's (one they destroyed) a Philco 80 year old radio (they scarred to holy hell) and clothes. The movers came two days late after 4 different cancellations and proceeded to tell me it was not about weight nor cubic feet but about number of boxes. We packed nearly everything before they got there. The price jumped to $2470. The company was to deliver the stuff to a local storage as I was told and I would have 30 days free storage. I could call anytime during that 30 days to have the stuff brought to the house. 2-1/2 months later my damaged goods arrived but not after the driver called the day bfore saying he needed another $500 in cash to TAXI the load. In other words remove from the semi and put it in a U-haul. A MONKEY COULD GET IN MY DRIVEWAY. After avoiding that when the final payment came due it was up to $2873. I have made 47 calls -no return calls, I have e-mailed some clown named Kevin, no return e-mails from him. Nicole however has e-mailed me twice saying Kevin was going to call me today at 3....never happened. I just got back from the Court House after filing a suit for the recovery of at least $999.99 (small claims) which is easier to win and more aggrvation for them. I have sent the same info to Military.com thru my son, BBB, DOT, and the state of Washington's AG office. I am just getting warmed up.
