What a cruel scam! In retrospect, I can't believe I sent $11,000 to a company I did not meet face to face with to find out who they really were. They had a slick web site, and I thought they were credible. I had (and still have) quite a bit of credit card debt, and thought they would help me. Now, my credit has been destroyed and almost feel the credit card company lawyers circling overhead. I should have known better when Liberty Resources stopped taking phone calls and only allowed communication by email.
Then W.A.G.E. International came along. I feel so stupid! I talked to the FBI, it turns-out that the IRS shut them down. The FBI said that it is unlikely that I will be able to recover any of my money. I'm interested in a class action lawsuit, or at least, see these con artists in prison.

Mark Browning is finally being sentenced

Mark Browning is finally being sentenced on September 28, 2006 at 10:30 AM for money laundering, court docket number CR-2-05-267, case 2004R00858. Mark Browning is just the first to be prosecuted and am told he will be seeing jail time. The District Court is now preparing documentation to be presented to the judge for his sentencing. The US justice Department is still working on cases against the list of his partners in crime.

The joint venture between the IRS and the FBI that shut down the Liberty Resources scam has only been able to get in contact with twenty or so of the approximately 200 people (including myself) victimized by this crime. Please pass this information on to others you know who were also victims. Make yourself known before 9/28/06!
