I received an email from Ridgewood Holdings stating that they could elimate my credit card debt.
I paid them the fee that they requested (over 4,000. dollars).
They emailed legal documents to me to send to my CC companies. They told me not to make payments on my CC during this process because that would be admitting that I owe the money.
To make a long story short... I received court order etc. from all 3 accounts, my credit report which was perfect before all of this, is now terrible and I owe thousands more to the CC than I did before I started this who scam because of late fees, overlimit fees, court costs, and their lawyer fees. I am now going to have to try to refiance my house to pay off the 30,000 dollars that I now owe the CC companies.
This has hurt my credit, my life and my marriage.
I would love to be able to retrieve all the money that I paid to these rip-off artists.

I am interested in the date you received the email from RIDGEWOOD HOLDINGS? I was contacted in January, 2004 and started sending them money in Feb.2004.
I assume you have read the other posts; if not, please do so. We are working very hard, as a group, to try and recoup our money, and have everyone involved in this scam put away.Please report LR and every person you had contact with to your AG's office,IRS, and anyone else you can think of!I also reported them to the post office (mail fraud), and the Ohio AG's office.
In case you didn't know, Mark Browning pleaded guilty last month to his part in this. Please read David's post (from North Carolina)for details.
