Liberty Settlements, Zulma Brito, George Roberts, Michele Joseph, Rocky Mountain Bank Scam, Got Us in More Financial Trouble than before, Took $4000 and no contact at all Houston Texas

We signed up with Liberty Settlements in order to settle our debts with credit cards.

We received letter, followed by a phone call with tips for dealing with Bill Collectors and it is pretty much to ignore all phone calls and send all statements and letters to LS. We were trying to do exactly what we were told but we strongly believe that LS did nothing.

We did make 3 payments of 1,315 (total $3,945) which were taken off from our bank account by LS. Supposidly for service fee and till now we have no service at all.

We were only getting few automated emails confirming that our mailings were received and that we have nothing to worry about. According to emails from LS we were just getting "standard letters that were generated by collections software. They are not cause for any concern. Remember that collection letters are designed to intimidate you, but don't let them effect your peace of mind"

What happened next is we were served with summons from one of our creditors and it turned out that we did get letter from that credit card company stating that legal actions will be taken against us, only we did believe that LS was reviewing our letters and will notify us if we had any problems.

Any time we would have to contact LS it is a nightmare, there is no prompt response ever. It is very frustrating especially right now. We felt that LS brought more damage to us than we had before. We try to ask LS to give us back our fees but they are not cooperating with us. All they are saying is that we signed contract and first 4 payments are going towards their service fees. There is no service!!!!

Someone needs to look into this company as people being scamed by this company.
