Liberty Towing cat thiefs for hire Toms River New Jersey

On 7-2-08 i took a ride to Toms River / Seaside Heights we stayed all day and upon returning my 1991 plymouth acclaim wouldn't start we placed a call to AAA they sent a wrecker to do a jump start. AAA was unable to get the car started and the gentleman said he was calling it in d.o.a and had to get a p/o but he'd be back. he told us to call AAA again and we would have to wait again. we called AAA and they said it would be a 2 hour e.t.a so we went back to the arcades and boardwalk. 4 hours later we called AAA and they said they left because they went to the yard and the car wasn't there. i made phone calls and seaside p.d. said there was no record of the car.

7/3/08 We had to stay in a hotel overnight and then get on a bus to go home. At 4:30 i rented a car to do errands and go to and from work. when i came back at 5 there was a message saying the car was at liberty towing.

i raced back to toms river and went to liberty towing and found no one on scene i called the # and a rude man named jay told me i need $415 and a $65 after hours fee cash only to open the gate if i wanted my car today. he said he would be there at 8 p.m. but he needed to know right then and there.

i waited 3 hours and at 8:15 i left annoyed and frustrated.

on 7/5/08 i arrived at the yard again this time at 9 am taking off from work to pick my car up when i arrived i was told the car was not there and now is was $520 i told him i was a AAA member and he berated me saying congratulations and so what. i paid my money and called AAA to tow my car to my mechanic.

7/5/08 2:30 pm i called my mechanic and he said the car never got there i called AAA and they said there was no car. i drove back to liberty and my car was in the yard again. some guy told me to go to the office and wait and stay out of the yard i told him my car was back there and he yelled i am not gonna tell you again next time the police will. a flatbed came in with two wrecks on it and jay jumped out. he said the car wasn't picked up and if i didn't pay $185 i wasn't getting my car back.

we exchanged words and he said "pay me or give me the title" i left and called my job

7/9/08 i get a letter in the mail stating my car is impounded and i owe money or a lien will be placed against my drivers license and property. i called liberty and was told title or $$$

7/11/08 my friend told me to give him the title and i did. i asked what it would cost to buy the car back and he said we wouldn't sell it.

7/15/08 i got another letter in the mail saying i owe $320.75
