Liberty Wireless Took My Money 3 months after I stopped using their service Alexandria Internet

I used Liberty Wireless as a prepaid phone service. At first, I was taken aback that they only offered used phones. However, I did keep the service for about 3-4 years. In 2007 they automatically set me up for a debit/charge on my bank credit card. However, when I went to change it, the personal managing account service on the internet was down. In order for me to make a payment, I had to call and do so.

In Nov. 07, I called and told them that I was paying for December 07 and that I was done with them because I was tired of the internet service being down for managing my account and their phones were outdated.

Well, here it is March 08 and I see on my bank statement that they have charged my account for a month worth of service in which I didn't use their phone system. I called them back to explain the situation and Carol, the supervisor on 3/07/08 told me that she couldn't put the money back in my bank account because I didn't cancel my service. When I explained to her that I told the guy back in November that I didn't want to use the service, it was supposed to be cancelled. I also asked her to verify in her records that I hadn't used the service since 2007. She did that and still said that even though she knew I hadn't used their phone service since Dec. 26, 2007, she was still going to keep my money. So I contacted my bank and filed fraudelent charges against them

PLEASE DO NOT USE LIBERTY WIRELESS FOR ANYTHING. I FOUND A 1000% better deal with Virgin Mobile and they have up to date phones and everything. This company knows that they are stealing from consumers and refuse to do anything about it.
