After my wife called to cancel our appointment and our membership that we will NOT be receiving a refund of the COSTLY "Gold" membership fees, that they deem "affordable".  They stated that we would not be getting a refund as we were sent this information email, AFTER billing us and taking our money.

I believe that the representative should've stated to us that we will not receive a refund if we cancel the "Gold"Membership.  I believe this is something that should've been Mentioned to us before we agreed to their contract aggreement.

They NEVER stated anything about not getting a refund if we cancel the membership.  They just take your money and don't care if the locations they are at are not easily accessible for you or a convenient distance from your house.

We have major mobility issues and going long distances is very inconvenient to us, but they seem to not care at all.  Just like the Govt they take your money and laugh all the way to the bank and don't really care about you at all and if their locations are easily accessible for you.

This company in my book is a major scam and we are tired of being ripped off by companies like this. So if you get a letter or post card or phone call from this scam company do not accept the call and throw the mail letters away.  Do NOT be scammed like we were.

Do no get ripped off by this traveling "gypsy" roaming so called medical screening company.

Life Line Screening Wellness

AUTHOR: William - (United States)

POSTED: Sunday, July 08, 2018

Life Line Screening Wellness Falsely told us that they could provide services in our immediate area, then couldn't coerced us into buying a Membership then changed it to Gold and then denied us a refund when we asked for one.

On or about April 2017 we received a letter in the mail stating about a free Health Screening in our area, we contacted them.  Since my wife an I are not of great health anyway, we figured, free health screenings, why not?  I mean with the cost of Insurance going up double every year and the cost of seeing doctors these days just isn't that economical for us.

Come to find out it wasn't free, false advertising, but a small fee we could afford at the time.  Then we were coreced into buying a membership, forcibly, then in that corse the membership, for a year of "free" screenings it was changed to Gold membership.  Now, mind you we were never told we could not cancel this membership for a refund, we asked and they said quickly "oh yes that will be fine" then changed the subject real quick as to get us distracted.  Now we are an elderly couple who isn't rich, but they seemed to think we were.

The time for the screening came up and well we both had gotten the flu and was not able to go to the screening here in our town and thought we could reschedule.  Well, they were only going to be in our town one day then the next appointment wasn't for another 4 months in a town 50 miles from where we live.

My wife has major mobility issues and i have severe back pain and issues from my days in the military, so driving that distance was not feasible for us.  we asked when the next time they would be in our area, they could not tell us that and kept saying, "well we are going to be here in three months" another location 75 miles from our house.

We again told them that would not work since my wife has mobility issues and if they would be closer to our house and they could not tell us that.  So, we asked for a refund of well over $300, they replied no, sorry you were told no refunds on the contract you signed.  First they told we could get a refund if we changed our minds, second, there was NO contract and we never signed anything!!

We have since been through a rigourous battle getting our refund by disputing it with our credit card company, which we just received a letter stating they are not giving us a refund.  something about the retailer provided them proof of a "contract".  Note, there is no signature by either myself or my wife.

So I IMPLORE everyone, DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY LIFE LINE SCREENING WELLNESS  LIKE WE DID!!  The will tell you all the wonderful things they can offer, paint the prettieist picture on it and promise you the moon, all the while they are picking your pockets clean!!  LIFE LINE SCREENING WELLNESS people ARE IMMORAL UNTRUSTWORTHY THEIVES!!  They will scam you out of every cent you have if given the chance!!

If you receive a letter in the mail dont just throw it away, shred it then burn it!!  This is a warning.  These people will say they will work with you and that you can get a refund at anytime, but when you ask for it they will DENY IT!!  DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THEM LIKE WE DID!!
