Lightning Chem-Dry I Unprofessional and Disrespectful! Tampa Florida

Well its true. You CAN be riped off by this company. Why ? because i used to work for the b*****d.
I know first hand the owner does and has riped off people before (specially elderly) but I cant say I am no better.
I also riped off someone for 600$ job prolly worht no more than 300 (due to sever pet urine/fecal matter.
However His practices arent very good and I was "trained" to get top dollar for low work.

I eventually quit due to the verbal abuse he would extent to me and his wife (of all people)
Racial remarks and constant personal badgering was my daily cup. So one day I gave him all my Training books and my Outfit and said "I quit, just not gonna work out"

Which was unfortunate seeing how I was pulling 700-1,000 dollars per day for him. Yet i was being paid 250 per week + another 100 for commision.

Bad company ? By far means no.. but this particular franchise i would STEER CLEAR of. Honsetly.. someone who calls their wife a "c**t" like its her name .. really isnt someone i prefer to work for. BE WARE.. do not use this franchise unless you want to be upsold and loose money. GL..

Well I do understand some of the issue people have:
There are two types of Cleaning:
1. truck Mount
2. Bonnet clean


Truck mountis where the carpet is cleaned and the dirt is "sucked out" into the truck (Highly effective and works 90% of the time)

Bonnet Clean: Not very effective.. its basically a pad that pulls surface dirt.


Far as Lightning Chem Dry ?
Well as a ex-employee I can tell you its a 1person owned company (with his wife as secretary.

The owner is well... a a*****e and I quit due to his bad practices and CONSTANT verbal abuse.

Rip off? well it can be since the prices arent really regulated. I once got 600$ from ONE job by overcharging the client (but i had to) i was making about 250 per week and only way i could make a extra buck was to Overcharge for commision.

Would I use chem dry myself? yes .. but only the trunk mount system. and then you are going to pay about 150-400 for the job (true cost should be around 90-150$)

So in my opinion> stay clear of this specific franchise unless you are GUARENTEED the work and should cost under 250$. (for full house)

Unfortunaly i was a employee of this b*****d who payed me 300 bucks per week when I pulled in 1,000$ per day for the owner.

The owner is the problem... NOT the Chem Dry franchise.

Stay away from any of those chem-dry outfits. Have posted about this before. They came out to my store to clean the carpet. They made a big mess and the carpet looked worse then before they started. It had all these swirls. They came back THREE more times and were never able to clean it. Was told I had waited too long and had too much debris in carpet which was probably true. The FIFTH time, they sent one of those big trucks with a steam tank inside and he "sucked" all the dirt and debris out of the carpet. Worked like a charm. Should have used him the first time. In their defense, they didn't charge me for the extra trips so they were stand up guys.
