I caution everyone that wants an education at BARAN because you'll be getting ripped off. First of all, the school/ instructor has poor experience on cars, and NO experience in teaching (and it shows). Besides their rudeness to people, in this case our son, who tried so hard and spend almost $30.000 for 6 months!!!!!!!!
 
If that's not enough, the course of study is terribly put together, and not enough training aids for the students; making it a zoo of an environment.
 
I hope people don't waste their money in that school ($30,000+ for under 6 months of schooling) and instead, plan a trip to a different school. BARAN isn't even worth $1,000!
 
Back ground :
 
We went to several different school and we almost went for UTI. Instead Barans representative  convinced us to go with Barans due to below :
 
70-80 + hands on
Courses that our son already have taken in Sweden would be credit to him.
No need of own car
No need of license (due to that he had to wait until his green card was finalized, he did not have a US license)
 
 
Our son tried (see his attendance record) test really hard in the beginning. He asked for when his credit = test for him to be available so he could show what he learned in Sweden for 2 years in school....He got no answer. I called the school, they never returned my phone calls.
 
Our son had no car to work on and on each car you had in the shop, the limit of people was already full. I called the school, no answer.
 
Our son called home and was so upset that he did NOT LEARN anything and students who did not have a car was outside smoking pot. I called and emailed the school, no answer. However they approached our son and the only thing they has to say was :  Tell me who is outside smoking pot. Of course our son did not want to end up in trouble and said that he did not want to tell. The other thing they  said was : Just try , see if you can help someone who has a car. WHAT HAPPENED WITH NOT NEEDING A CAR IN YOUR SCHOOL?????? 
 
Our son changed from morning to afternoon class because he thought that the other class would be better...He was sooooo wrong. He still had the same problem, so did a few other students.
 
Our sons friend in the Motorcycle class gave his permission to use his car. Chris talks to the school and teachers and they all say : it is NOT your car, you dont have insurance and no license. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR PROMISE NOT NEEDING A CAR???????
 
That is why we signed up for the school in the first place.
 
We wanted to wait for the Swedish School to authorize our son to start your school, but the school said, it will not be a problem, we take care of this. It is very strange that Sweden did not even recognize Barans as a good school...but they did recognize UTI.
 
When our son came home for X mas he was done. He said, I dont learn anything and I get no help. Thats it, we had to pull him out of  school. BUT before we did, I called the school and of course he did not answer and I told him that hands on needs to be as you promised and the credits etc. I asked him several times to call back...He did not. 
 
Their lack of communication is very poor and I am sad to see my son without education...But they sure charged him for it., they all robbed him for 6 months. How dare you, you all should be ashamed for what you have done. He tried, he tried and he tried....He got nothing back from them, no help at all.

Stay away from Barans, they will never admit their fault and they never listen after you sign up and they got your money!
